The Same Way - Every Time!

Your inspection consists of a systematic examination of the home by a fully qualified professional.

We use the same methodology every time, allowing us to properly focus on the building, working from the top down on the outside and in each room.  In the basement, we locate the furnace first and work from there.  Basement moisture readings give an indication of any basement dampness on the day of the inspection.

The inspection follows a two-pass system, where the inspector examines things in detail on his own, without interruptions, and records his observations in the written report.  In the second pass, the client is guided around and given a detailed verbal report.

What we do

  • help you to make informed decisions
  • tell you clearly what we saw
  • tell you how systems work and are maintained
  • put repairs and priorities into context

What we don't do

  • make false promises
  • report on areas we cannot see
  • report on code compliance
  • offer subjective opinions

Reality Check:  No home inspection can guarantee that all defects are detected.
